Weightlifting Training

Technical weightlifting coaching that develops strength, speed and confidence.

About Weightlifting

Weightlifting at Arc House focuses on learning and improving the Snatch, Clean and Jerk, together with the accessory movements that support them. These lifts combine strength, speed, mobility and coordination, making good coaching especially important. Sessions break each movement into clear stages so you can understand what you are doing and why.

You do not need previous Weightlifting experience to begin. New lifters can develop strong foundations, while experienced athletes can refine their technique and address specific areas of their performance. Progress is built through patient, purposeful practice, with load added when your movement is ready for it.

Technical Coaching

Your coach will help you understand positions, timing and movement through each lift. Clear feedback makes technical changes easier to recognise and apply.

Stronger Foundations

Accessory exercises develop the strength, stability and mobility needed for confident lifting. These foundations support better technique and more consistent performance.

Consistent Progress

You will build your lifts through structured practice rather than rushing to add weight. This approach gives your technique time to become reliable as your strength develops.

Focus and Confidence

Weightlifting teaches patience, concentration and trust in your movement. As your skill improves, the barbell becomes less intimidating and each successful lift feels more assured.
